Artful Beginnings: About the Artist

My path into art began during the pandemic, when uncertainty opened a door I never expected to walk through. With no academic training, I started creating simply to process emotion, then realized a vivid visual language lived inside me. That language grew into Art By Alonso, a Washington, DC studio focused on original mixed media abstracts that translate feeling into color, texture, and movement. Clients today receive work born from that early need for honesty and connection.
